I don’t have any glass icicle Christmas tree ornaments exactly the same as the ones on this page but I think I will order some because I like to add to my collection each year. By adding some new ornaments yearly, I can remove the older ones that are looking a bit the worse for wear, and still have a good collection of ornaments to choose from when it’s time to decorate the Christmas tree.
I love to have icicles on my Christmas tree as they shine, even through the daytime, and make the tree look really lovely. And, when the lights on the tree are turned on at night they reflect in the icicles and make the tree look as though it’s in fairyland. When I was growing up, my sister and I used to decorate the ceiling in the lounge with red and green streamers and hang icicles from them to make the room look really beautiful.

I no longer hang streamers; these days my granddaughter usually helps me with my Christmas decorations and she really enjoys choosing which ornaments from my collection that she thinks will make the tree look the most beautiful.
If I buy the Kurt Adler 24 piece assorted set, and if I get to decorate the tree myself, I will put the shorter icicles from the top of the tree downwards, followed by the longer icicles on the lower part of the Christmas tree. However, my granddaughter might have different ideas, and maybe she will mix the sizes to her liking.
Whatever way the icicles are placed on my tree I feel sure that they will look lovely. I’ve read some reviews about each of these 3 different types of glass icicle ornaments, where people have said how pleased they are with their purchases and how beautiful the glass icicles are, as well as being of good quality.
If they truly are as lovely as is said in the reviews, I know that I will be very happy and want to use them every year from now on. I don’t know what my granddaughter will say about that. Let’s hope she will agree.
I think my favorite choice is the Kurt Adler 24 piece set but I also like the Snowflake and Icicle ornaments. Maybe I’ll just have to buy a set of each.
